How
To Make A Copy Book
Copy books were
used for
copying poems, problems and information to memorize. They were made at
home and
brought to school. Each student would keep his/her copy book at the end
of the
school term.
How To Make A Copybook
1.
Fold
sheets of
old, math or yellow school paper in half.
2.
Cut a
brown paper
bag to use for the cover.
3.
Punch
two holes
near the fold and run pieces of rough
brown string or yarn through the holes.
4.
Tie
the string or
yarn in a knot to hold the booklet together.
5.
Each
student may
write their “Hornbine Name” on the front cover.
